Court orders Holcomb to release Carrier emails

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A Marion County court has ordered Gov. Eric Holcomb to turn over emails and other documents from 2016 between then-Gov. Mike Pence, the Trump organization and Carrier.

The documents in question are from Nov. 14-29, 2016.

The public records request was originally made by the Citizens Action Coalition of Indiana, which sought more information on the negotiations that led to Carrier staying in Indianapolis.

The matter ended up in court in May this year after the Holcomb administration argued the request was too vague.

The judge ruled against the coalition on another records request relating to Carrier, saying it was not specific enough.
