Arlington High School briefly locked down after shots fired nearby
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Arlington High School was briefly placed on lockdwon just before noon Thursday after gunshots were fired nearby.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department dispatch said shots were fired just north of the school, at Arlington Avenue and Dickson Road, around 11:45 a.m.
No one was hurt, according to police.
An Arlington High School official confirmed the school was on total lockdown as authorities investigated the shooting.
