Mother accused of killing her children released from hospital, booked into jail

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A Montgomery County mother that told police she killed her own children has been booked into jail.

Brandi Worley, 30, is now in the Montgomery County Jail. She had been in the hospital in the days after her children were killed and she stabbed herself in the neck.

Worley now faces two counts of murder in the case. According to online court records, no future court appearances are currently scheduled.

In a 911 call, Worley stated “I just stabbed myself and killed my two children,” according to police.

Court records show that her husband, Jason Worley, had filed for divorce the day before the murders.

Court filings show that Brandi told Jason “now you can’t take the kids from me.”

The employer of Jason Worley set up a GoFundMe to help cover funeral costs.
