Dining out linked to positive COVID-19 infections
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Heading out to eat? Well, you might want to think twice before you go.
In an updated report, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found adults testing positive with COVID-19 were almost twice as likely to have dined at a restaurant than those who tested negative.
News 8 spoke with Brian Dixon, director of public health informatics at the Regenstrief Institute. Dixon spoke about the study’s findings, the importance of restaurants following strict prevention protocols, and what diners can do to keep themselves safe.
