National Guard troops deployed to St. Vincent hospital due to increased COVID-19 cases
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana National Guard troops are assisting at an Indianapolis hospital due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.
Troops have been deployed to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital on the city’s northwest side, according to Master Sgt. Jeff Lowry with the Indiana National Guard.
Troops had previously been deployed to Clark Memorial Health in Jeffersonville.
Across the state, there are currently 2,279 Hoosiers hospitalized due to COVID-19.
