Oktoberfest returns to Carmel City Center

The City of Carmel’s Oktoberfest at Carmel City Center is back! Celebrate with them on Friday, October 1st from 6-10 p.m. with food, drinks and live music entertainment featuring Der Polkatz!

Sam Bokodi, Vivante restaurant supervisor, and Melanie Lentz Brewer, City of Carmel Project Manager, joined us today with “Pretchos” and “Charcuterie Cups” to give us a taste of what to expect at the event.

The festival is free and open to all ages. During the event, many of the Carmel City Center Shops will be open for visitors to shop and browse while walking around the Center. You do not want to miss this family-friendly evening!

Along with live music, Oktoberfest will include:

Food and beverages from area restaurants (The Cake Bake Shop, Matt the Miller’s Tavern/Tucci’s, Le Peep, Vivante French Eatery and Manelé Café)
Biergarten
Airbrush tattoos for kids
Much, much more!

Der Polkatz, a 13-piece band that plays a variety of music from polka and waltz to classic hits and world music, will perform on the upper plaza of Carmel City Center beginning at 7pm, along Veteran’s Way. Guests are encouraged to enjoy food, entertainment and fall fun with the Palladium and the Carter Green serving as a scenic background.

Event parking is available in the Veterans Way Garage.

Carmel City Center is located at the southwest corner of City Center Drive and Rangeline Road. Parking is available along the street and in the Veterans Way Garage.
