Call-in tip leads police to trailer park meth lab

PERU, Ind. (WISH) – Two people were arrested Monday evening after a call-in tip led police to a nearby meth lab.

Indiana State Police and Miami County Sheriff’s Department got a citizen’s tip that possible drug activity at Woodland Hills Trailer Court.

Shortly after arriving to the 200 block lot at the trailer park, police got permission to search the property and found a methamphetamine lab in a shed. Police also found meth, items that could manufacture meth and drug paraphernalia.

They arrested John Wilson, 48, and Sondra Stabler, 53, both from Peru, in connection to the meth lab and drug items, and took them to the Miami County Jail.

Both face possible charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of chemical precursors and possession of methamphetamine. Wilson also faces a possible charge of manufacturing methamphetamine.
