Anderson woman found stabbed to death after her car was in Hamilton County crash

ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — An Anderson woman was found stabbed to death in her apartment Thursday evening, police said.

Marina Redding, 58, was found unresponsive in her apartment located in the 1400 block of Fletcher Street around 11 p.m. by her daughter Kira Smith.

Smith said that she went to check on her mother after learning that Redding’s car had been involved in a crash in Hamilton County earlier that day.

Officers with the Anderson Police Department found Redding in a back bedroom with multiple stab wounds to her chest.

No suspect information was released.
