Financially preparing students for college

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Going off to college is a big step in a young person’s life.  It’s usually the first time the student will be spending an extended period of time away from mom and dad, essentially living on their own.

Financial professional Brian Benham from Benham Advisory Group stopped by Daybreak and talked about four financial topics to cover with your college-bound adolescent.

He discussed the importance of setting a budget, checking and savings accounts and student loans.
