Gun used in fatal Franklin shooting recovered

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – The gun used in a fatal Franklin shooting over the weekend has been recovered, according to the Franklin Police Department.

Donovan Burdine, 18, was shot and killed on Saturday, Jan. 25 around 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Hurricane Street, in a neighborhood near the Boys & Girls Club.

Emilio Garcia, 20, was arrested for Burdine’s murder. Roger Miller, 21, also faces a charge for assisting a criminal.

Police said the deadly shooting remains under investigation as they continue to follow up on more leads in the case.
