IMPD officer cuts overgrown grass at abandoned apartments
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — When an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer learned that high grass was obstructing the view of motorists, he knew it needed to be fixed as soon as possible.
A bicyclists had been struck by a vehicle due to high grass near abandoned apartments.
Commander John Mann stepped up to fix the problem himself since it would be weeks before the city could get a crew out to cut the grass.
IMPD shared photos of Mann breaking out the lawn mower.
