AG Hill requested to pay $57,000 to Indiana Supreme Court in disciplinary hearing fees

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana’s attorney general has been requested to write a big check to the Indiana Supreme Court.

Curtis Hill must pay more than $57,000. It’s for expenses for his disciplinary hearing earlier this year.

The Supreme Court found him guilty of misconduct and suspended his law license for 30 days. That was in response to accusations that Hill groped four women at a bar back in 2018 during a party.

Here’s a breakdown of the expenses: Supreme Court expenses of nearly $49,000, Disciplinary Commission expenses of $8,200 and court costs of $250.

This story has been corrected to show that Hill has been requested to pay the amount, not ordered.
