INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) – The Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and Ivy Tech Community College are partnering to help Hoosiers financially impacted by the coronavirus. Ivy Tech says it is offering tuition-free training and education through the state’s Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant.

Ivy Tech says Hoosiers can enroll now and classes begin Oct. 26.

The college says it is offering credentials in five fields, including IT and business services, advanced manufacturing, logistics and transportation, health and life sciences, and building and construction.

Ivy Tech says it will provide career coaching services, tutoring, advising and other support services to program participants. The state is planning to reach out to those in need and share information about how to take advantage of the free training and educational opportunities.
