The International Center announces unique program

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — The International Center has announced a professional development program named after UNICEF board member James Morris. The James T. Morris Leadership Series is for Indiana residents who show business or civic leadership with a global component. The former UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Southern Africa, Morris has worked to address humanitarian issues across the globe and formerly served as then Indianapolis Mayor Richard Lugar’s chief of staff when The International Center was formed.

Full-day sessions will be held monthly in a collaborative curriculum including panelists, activities and keynote speakers. Organizers say high profile professionals will serve as hosts for each session.

“We are thrilled to expand our professional services to offer this five-month series,” says Martin Baier, president and CEO of The International Center. “We are looking forward to bringing together the first-ever Morris Series cohort to inform, convene and connect global leadership across our state.”

Cost of the Morris Series is $995 per student, with limited and partial scholarships available. Click here to learn more.
