IPS to hold virtual meeting Thursday, to discuss e-learning plan

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Families with students in the Indianapolis Public Schools system will have a chance to learn more about the district’s e-learning plan.

The district is hosting a meeting for parents Thursday evening.

The virtual meeting will feature IPS Chief Academics Officer Warren Morgan and other IPS leaders who will discuss what e-learning will look like for students.

They will also answer parents’ questions.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

The meeting will not be streamed on the IPS Facebook page, the district said Wednesday night.

Remote learning for IPS is set to start on Aug. 17.
