Parts of Whiteland under boil advisory after water main break
WHITELAND, Ind. (WISH) — Parts of Whiteland are under a boil water advisory until Wednesday due to a water main break, Whiteland Water Works announced Sunday.
Residents and businesses on the following streets are asked to boil water meant for cooking or drinking for at least five minutes before using:
- North Front Street from Main Street to just south of the Whiteland Raceway Park
- Brewer Street
- Walnut Street
- Poplar Street
- North State Street
- Main Street, east of the Louisville and Indiana railroad tracks to Elm Street
- Elm Street
- Pearl Street, east of the Louisville and Indiana railroad
- Boone Street
- South State Street
The boil advisory is expected to expire Wednesday.
