Pet Pals TV: Pipsqueak the teeny, tiny therapy dog
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Each and every week, Pet Pals TV shares a fun, interesting and informative story about our four-legged and furry friend population.
This time the host of Pet Pals TV, Patty Spitler, stopped by the Daybreak studios with the executive director of Paws and Think, Kelsey Burton.
Burton brought Pipsqueak with her as a guest on the show. Pipsqueak may just be the world’s tiniest therapy dog, weighing in at just under 2 pounds.
“Our organization does two things, one of which is pet therapy, so that’s where we train and register therapy dogs,” said Burton. “And believe it or not, Pipsqueak takes the test just llike all the ‘real-sized’ dogs.”
Pipsqueak is trained to provide comfort and support to people who need it.
