Several city pools opening this weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Several Indy Parks pools will open on Saturday.
Indy Parks released its summer pool schedule on Thursday. The following pools will begin a staggered opening on Saturday:
- Bethel Park – 2850 Bethel Ave.
- Frederick Douglass Park – 2759 Dr. Andrew J. Brown Dr.
- Garfield Park – 2345 Pagoda Dr.
- Gustafson Park – 3110 Moller Rd.
- Riverside Park – 2420 E. Riverside Dr.
- Thatcher Park – 4649 W. Vermont St.
Most pools will be closed two days per week this summer. Indy Parks is also reminding visitors to practice social distancing while visiting the pools.
More city pools will be added to the summer schedule soon, according to Indy Parks.
The pools opening Saturday will be closed on Memorial Day, however, spray grounds will be accessible. All parks will be open to visitors over the holiday, but family centers and park facilities will be closed.
