Man with gunshot wounds airlifted from Logansport
LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) – A man who was shot was airlifted from Logansport early Friday morning.
According to Logansport Police Lt. A.J. Rozzi, emergency crews were dispatched to River Bluff Trail around 3:44 a.m. after a call of a male who had been shot. Authorities found 25-year-old Allen Moten, of Chicago, in the wooded trail area with two gunshot wounds to the abdomen area.
Moten was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Rozzi said.
Police did not identify the subject who placed the 911 call, but told 24-Hour News 8’s sister station it was not Moten and police are currently investigating the matter.
Moten was visiting Logansport from Chicago. His current condition is unknown.
