ISDH: Nearly 400 new positive COVID-19 cases, 31 more deaths

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — On Wednesday, the Indiana State Department of Health said 394 new cases of COVID-19 have been discovered in Indiana with 31 more deaths related to the virus.

Currently, Indiana stands at 12,438 total COVID-19 cases with 661 deaths.

The department says 69,740 tests have been administered in the state of Indiana.

Officials in Indiana are not yet providing information on recoveries. Dr. Kris Box has said that information will be available as soon as medical codes are created that will offer COVID-19 recovery information, which the state does not currently have.

According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 2,593,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with more than 696,000 recoveries and more than 179,000 deaths.
