New Goodwill store opens in Fountain Square

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A new goodwill store opened in Fountain Square on Tuesday.

The new thrift store is at the site of the former Bud’s Supermarket.

It opened Tuesday at 7 a.m.

“We’re excited about Fountain Square’s growth, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue to invest in the neighborhood,” said Eric Schlegel, Goodwill’s vice president of retail operations. “Like all Goodwill stores, this one supports local jobs and services that help central Indiana residents increase their independence and reach their potential.”

The store employs about 20 workers.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This is the 55th Goodwill store in the state.
