No one hurt in 9-vehicle crash on I-65, dispatch says
LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) — No one was hurt in a crash involving nine vehicles Friday on Interstate 65, Boone County dispatch reported.
Interstate 65 was shut down in both directions following the Friday afternoon crash near U.S. 52 around the 141-mile marker in Lebanon. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office announced the crash in a tweet at 2:42 p.m.
The vehicles included a semitractor-trailer carrying scrap metal, the county dispatch reported.
The interstate had reopened by Friday night.
No additional details were immediately available. A call to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office’s public information officer was not immediately returned.
