Westfield HS students presented with The Zone Banner for best student section at football games

WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — It was a special Tuesday at Westfield High School as students were recognized for having the best student section in Indiana this football season.

WISH-TV’s Anthony Calhoun went to the school to present Westfield with the coveted The Zone Banner.

The students were excellent all season, especially during this challenging year because of the pandemic. Showing up for every game home and away – with masks on supporting their team.

The Westfield student section was there, ready to go all the way leading up to game day, doing incredible work on social media and even getting their community involved, promoting the school and football team.

The Rocks will play for a state title on Friday night, and their coach knows The 2020 Banner Champs is a big reason why.
