Woman, man identified after southwest side murder-suicide
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man and woman are dead after a murder-suicide on the southwest side of Indianapolis on Wednesday evening.
Indianapolis police responded to a mobile home in the 3000 block of West Morris Street around 8 p.m. after reports of gunshots.
Tiffany Greer, 27, and her boyfriend Eric Harden, 35, both had multiple gunshots wounds. They were pronounced dead on scene.
Police say Harden fatally shot Greer before turning the gun on himself.
Greer’s 2-year-old daughter was inside the home during the shootings, according to police, but she was not hurt. She was put in the care of Child Protective Services.
IMPD says officers were called to the same mobile home in 2015 after an argument between Greer and Harden that ended in destroyed property.
Police urge anyone in a violent domestic partnership to call 211 for help.
