5 Years Later: What happened to Avon mother Najah Ferrell?
An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer located an abandoned Nissan Altima in a parking lot near 86th Street and Michigan Road around 1:30 a.m. on March 26, 2019. Avon police later announced that the vehicle in question was the one Najah Ferrell had been driving on the morning she went missing. It was located just over two miles from the Panera where Najah was supposed to work on the morning she went missing. Detectives sealed the vehicle, and it was taken in to be searched as part of the investigation. No additional details about what was found inside the vehicle have ever been released.
