5 Years Later: What happened to Avon mother Najah Ferrell?
A man fishing near I-65 and 109th Avenue in Crown Point called police after finding what appeared to be a human foot near the edge of a pond on April 8, 2019. The foot had a ‘distinct tattoo’ which police used to initially connect it to Najah Ferrell. With the preliminary identification, police announced that Najah’s disappearance was now a death investigation, and that foul play was now suspected. (Photo Credit: WISH-TV)
