ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A battle is brewing in Zionsville over a proposed senior living center.

Bloomington-based CarDon Development wants to build the campus on 25-acres near State Road 334 and Cooper Road.

The developer says there’s a real need for senior housing in the community.

But the idea isn’t sitting well with some neighbors. They’re concerned about increased noise and traffic. They say they want to keep the area residential.

The town planning commission took up the matter Tuesday night. The town council will have the final say. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
