Officials respond to late-night fire

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Crews responded to a call of a late-night fire Saturday.

The Indianapolis Fire Department was dispatched to a fire in the 10100 block of East McGregor Road just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday evening.

Crews were able to get the fire in the single story structure under control in approximately 20 minutes.

The smoke detectors in the structure were reported as being out of order.

No injuries were reported.

Damage sustained as a result of the fire are estimated to be $40,000.
