INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Thousands of people are getting help through the “Inshape Indiana Black and Minority Health Fair.”

WISH-TV teamed up with Indiana Black Expo for the event, as part of our “Gr8 Health” campaign.

The fair offered health screenings free of charge along with other educational services and resources.

It’s an annual service that attendees say is invaluable.

“I think it’s very helpful because we need to learn how to eat better, and because so many people are sick from eating the wrong thing,” said Treva Little of Indianapolis.

The health fair continues over the next three days, all at different times so you can pick one that works for you:

It runs from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
