Nearly 1,500 dogs, cats up for adoption at Indy event
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — You have the chance to adopt a new member of the family this weekend.
The South Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds is hosting the fifth annual Indy Mega Adoption event.
More than 1,300 dogs and cats from nearly 30 area animal shelters are up for adoption.
Adoption fees are $30 and all the animals are spayed or neutered.
The event will be open Sunday from noon until 6 p.m.
