Man dies after Thursday crash in Shelby County
SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A South Carolina man died in a crash Thursday in Shelby County.
Emergency crews were called to the 109 mile marker of I-74 eastbound around 6 p.m.
Indiana State Police say a semi driven by Peter Wall of Nebraska had slowed due to construction when it was rear-ended by Ryan Scheer of South Carolina.
Scheer was airlifted to IU Health Methodist Hospital, where he died of his injuries Sunday.
State police said the crash remains under investigation.
