BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Two people were arrested following a Bartholomew County traffic stop Saturday.

According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Tori Adams was pulled over in the 9000 block of Friendship Drive just after 11 p.m. on Feb. 8.

During the traffic stop, the deputy saw a blue digital scale with white residue. Additionally, a K-9 officer indicated the possible presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of marijuana and prescription medication that didn’t belong to either Adams or the passenger, 38-year-old James Perkins. Adams also told deputies that she had in her possession methamphetamine and other drug-related paraphernalia.

Both Adams and Perkins were transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where they face a number of preliminary drug-related charges.
