Boone County governments helping small businesses
BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Whitestown and Lebanon have allocated $50,000 each for their respective small businesses through the Boone County Small Business Economic Relief Fund. The Boone County Economic Development Corporation manages the fund which has several funding partners, including MonoSol and Allman Johnson.
Businesses seeking to apply for a loan are able to request up to $10,000 with two term options. Several businesses are awaiting SBA loans and this loan program works as a bridge as businesses adjust to COVID-19 restrictions
“This is an opportunity to join hands with our small businesses and communities to make Boone County stronger and ready for the future,” said Boone EDC Executive Director Molly Whitehead. “We encourage small businesses of any type to think creatively about how this funding could help them offset losses or grow in new ways during this time.”
Each town’s allocated funds will provide assistance to their own small businesses. Click here to learn more.
