I-74 lane closures begin Monday

GREENSBURG, Ind. (WISH) – Indiana Department of Transportation’s contractor is starting construction of a bridge deck at the northbound State Road 3 structure that spans Interstate 74 at Greensburg.

One lane of I-74 will close in each direction starting at 7 a.m. Monday. Those lanes will be closed until Friday at 2 p.m.

It’s a nearly $4 million bridge replacement project that is building new northbound and southbound superstructures.

Construction of the southbound bridge will begin later this summer.
