15-year-old in custody, accused of threatening school
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Montgomery County authorities have a 15-year-old boy in custody who they say sent threats over the internet.
The South Montgomery School Corporation got a threat by email on Friday. Bomb-sniffing dogs found nothing at the school.
The sheriff’s office called the state police’s cyber-crimes unit on Monday when more threats were sent to the school.
Preliminary felony charges of intimidation and false reporting have been brought against the 15-year-old. He was taken to the juvenile detention center.
His name has not been released.
