Safety measures
Experts say the office as we knew it is gone.
They tell Business Insider to get ready for one-way hallways, sneeze guards and other safety measures.
Others predict workers will only come into the office for group work.
GM plant
General Motors said that it’s targeting May 18 as the day it plans to reopen most of its Nort American manufacturing operations.
The automakers suspended operations as its North American operations in March due to the COVID-19 crisis. The company said after suspending operations in Asia earlier in the year. It’s been able to restart operations in South Korea and China. It also has been making ventilators at a plant in Kokomo.
Small businesses
New research released from the Society for Human Resource Management warns the state of small business could go from bad to worse.
Fifty-two percent expect to be out of business within six months.
Forty-six percent say the federal government is doing enough to support small businesses, while 36% disagree.
Jobs report
Economists forecast another 3 million Americans filed for unemployment last week.
Less than last week but still horrifyingly high.
That would bring the number to 33 million Americans filing for unemployment since mid-March.
