ISDH: 871 new positive COVID-19 tests, 13 more deaths reported

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — New COVID-19 stats have been released by the Indiana State Department of Health.

ISDH says 871 new positive cases have been reported.

A total of 13 more deaths have been reported to ISDH. Those deaths occurred between Aug. 28 and Sept. 1.

ISDH says 14,239 new test results have been counted. Those tests occurred between March 14 and Sept. 1. Of those, 9,085 were new individuals who hadn’t been previously tested.

A total of 1,457,009 tests have been administered to 1,092,596 individuals.

A total of 95,750 Hoosiers have tested positive, resulting in 3,106 deaths. Another 219 “probable” deaths have occurred, but no positive test is on record.
