Crews respond to Columbus fire

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – Crews in Columbus responded to a fire Monday evening.

According to the Columbus Fire Department, they responded to the 4500 block of North 150 West just after 10 p.m. After arriving on the scene, firefighters learned that the flames has spread to two homes.

By dividing and conquering, crews were able to get the fire under control within 30 minutes after arrival.

Both homes incurred significant damage as a result of the fire. Damage to one home resulted in $75,000 damage, the second home sustained $40,000 worth of damage.

No injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation as it is unclear what caused the fire.
