INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two people have died in a Saturday shooting on the city’s east side.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called around 6:36 p.m. Saturday to the 1900 block of North Audubon Road on a report of a person shot. That’s a residential area just off 21st Street and Ritter Avenue.

They arrived to find a man and a woman suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, IMPD said.

No additional information about the identities of the victims or the circumstances of the shooting were immediately available.
