FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Police have identified the gas shooting suspect as 21-year-old Victor Manual Rivera.
Rivera is facing Murder, Felony Murder and Robbery Causing Serious Bodily Injury charges from the Thursday night incident.
Police say they were able to identify and arrest the suspect in large part due to the public’s willingness to provide credible information to investigators when his likeness was portrayed on all local media outlets.
Rivera was taken into custody without incident this morning when investigators observed him walking in a north side trailer park off of Washington Center Road.

Another employee was working inside the cooler area at the time of the shooting and was not hurt. There were no customers inside.
Detectives interviewed potential witnesses and reviewed surveillance video from the gas station and nearby businesses.
