IMPD officers attending ‘Brookside Community Play’
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Brookside Community Park is inviting the community to play.
Every Tuesday night in July, a youth development program called “Brookside Community Play” hosts games of basketball, soccer, kickball and relay races.
The idea is to build relationships and start conversations among people in the neighborhood.
Two churches serve as the hosts, and for the next two weeks IMPD officers will be among the invited guests.
Tuesday, July 19 and Tuesday, July 26 are the final play days this summer. They are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brookside Community Park.
