Morning showers; Cloudy and breezy afternoon
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Showers for the morning commute with pockets of some moderate to heavy rain at times. Temperatures in the mid-40s for the morning. Showers will begin to move out late morning with a cloudy sky for Thursday afternoon. Not a bad afternoon for us, with winds a bit breezy at times out of the south boosting temperatures to the lower 60s with lots of cloud cover. Should stay mainly dry with an isolated shower chance possible.
Thursday night, expect to see shower chances increasing with a second batch of rain moving in overnight with lows in the lower 50s.
Friday will be a soggy one, with scattered on and off showers through the morning and afternoon with temperatures in the lower 60s. Rain will continue through the beginning of the weekend with showers and a few rumbles of thunder through the day. Temperatures will top out in the lower 50s. Once the cold front passes late Saturday some rain could transition to light snow with no accumulation expected.
We’ll dry it out for Sunday with temperatures struggling during the day with highs only warming to the lower 40s. Next week will be a quiet and mild one with temperatures slowly warming to the mid-50s with showers by the end of next week.
