Purdue adds Louisville, Boston College, to future schedules

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) – Purdue will play Louisville in Indianapolis during the 2017 football season, only the second time the Boilermakers have played at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The game, being played Sept. 2, 2017, will be only the second game between Purdue and Louisville. The first ended in a 22-22 tie in 1987. The Boilermakers have only played once before at Lucas Oil Stadium, losing 30-14 to Notre Dame in 2014.

Purdue also said Tuesday it will host Boston College on Sept. 22, 2018, and will visit Boston College on Sept. 26, 2020. Those two schools have not played before.
