Purdue to sell furniture as hotel renovations set to start

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — Need some furniture? Or looking for some Purdue University relics?

The university is selling everything from the 200 rooms in the Union Club Hotel in the Purdue Memorial Union.

The hotel is closing on Monday for a one-year, $35 million renovation project.

A three-day liquidation sale will start June 8 and run from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day. You could buy dressers, bed frames, TVs, mini fridges, nightstands, lamps and other items.

Purdue says you must remove the items yourself after buying them.
