Woman accused in Hamilton Co. murder plot arrested in Montana

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Half of the duo accused of plotting to kill a Hamilton County attorney has been arrested.

Renee Perillo was taken into custody in a small town in Montana, according to police.

Along with her son, who police had already apprehended, Perillo was wanted in connection with a bizarre murder plot that involved hiding in wait in the victim’s vehicle back in May.

She is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, a level 2 felony; theft, a class A misdemeanor; carrying a handgun without a license, a class A misdemeanor; criminal trespass, a class a misdemeanor; and unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, a class B misdemeanor.

Details about her arrest, including exactly where she was apprehended, have not been released.

She now faces extradition back to Indiana.
