Zionsville police looking for surveillance video after recent murder

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Zionsville are still looking for a suspect who shot and killed an 82-year-old man on Thursday.

Police say they’re receiving tips, however, none have led them to the suspect. It’s a concern for police, and perhaps an even bigger concern for the community. Now, police are asking for the public to help them by providing with possible surveillance video.

Officials say they are hoping to find video from the surrounding area of the crime scene from possible home security cameras that face the street.

Police believe the suspect used a high-caliber weapon based on shell casings found at the scene.  They don’t know why the man shot John Clements and police said they don’t believe the man stole anything from Clements.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 317-873-5967 extension 4241.
