Great Birdhouse Challenge

On Saturday, April 18, Partners in Housing (PIH) will host its annual Great Birdhouse Challenge to support our programs to help our residents to self-sufficiency. The funds raised at the 2015 Great Birdhouse Challenge will be used to support and expand the services and opportunities PIH provides to the adults and children living at their 11 properties.

It’s called the Great Birdhouse Challenge because they are up against each other. Once the challenge happens on Saturday, the combination of bids for the birdhouses plus the votes on line create the winner.”

The challenge will take place at the Indiana Landmarks Center from 6 – 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. Sponsored by National Bank of Indianapolis, this event has both a silent auction and a special auction of birdhouses decorated by local artists. This year, in addition to the artist birdhouses, local community members have joined the challenge to see who can make the most creative birdhouse.

The event is free and community members can secure a ticket online at https://gbc2015.eventbrite.com or by emailing Jennifer Coffey at jcoffey@partnersinhousingindy.org. To learn more about the event and to vote on the birdhouses, visit our website at partnersinhousingindy.org/events. Online voting ends on Thursday, April 16 at noon.
