Give your laundry room a new look with these design ideas

Do you dread the never-ending cycle of laundry? Just as everything is folded, and put away, the baskets are full again.

But what if your Laundry Room was designed to be a functional space that looked awesome? Danielle Myers, ASID, RID, Proprietor, Elle Designs explains how this laundry room was designed as a beautiful and functional space.

Some of the Interior Design details include:

Utilizing multiple types of finishes – Here we incorporated 4 various types of Porcelain Tiles.

Hexagon Shapes of Different Sizes for the Walls, & Floor
Tile composed of a Rectangle Tile & a Patterned Tile that gives the
impression of an inset runner rug.

High Function for this space was essential. A Ceiling
Mounted Pipe Hanging Rack, Built-In Bench with Storage Below for Laundry
Baskets, Cabinetry, & a Utilitarian Sink.

The Built-In Bench is a perfect escape to read a book or do
homework.

The Washer & Dryer were elevated with a platform for
functional front loaders to be at the ideal height and then they are inset into
a built-in cabinet, providing folding space.

Do not overlook the lighting, it is a statement piece in
this space.

A few subtle functional accessories for detergent and cloths
pin storage, paired with floating shelves.

We added a few nostalgic artwork pieces, and custom door
pulls for the cabinetry.

Do not overlook the design of your Laundry Room, Closets,
& Pantry in your home, they can make a big statement!

Design can directly impact your life, alter your mood, & change your mindset!
