Did you know learning about animals is considered science?

Science presentation with exotic animals

Rick Crosslin, Scientist in Residence MSD Wayne Township Schools, shares facts about rabbits, tarantulas, snakes, and tortoises ahead of the 8th annual Celebrate Science Indiana, taking place on Saturday, October 6 from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Indiana State Fairgrounds’ Elements financial Blue Ribbon Pavilion. All age groups are encouraged to attend to learn about all walks of life, how science impacts our daily lives, and help encourage young Hoosiers to pursue exciting, rewarding careers in science.

All of these animals have been “rescued” by the organization, A Critters Chance. All four animals will be at Celebrate Science Indiana, and visitors can meet them, and learn how to adopt them for their classroom or home.
