PATTERN Magazine celebrates 10 years
It’s Indianapolis’ only fashion magazine, it’s a non-profit put together soley by volunteers, and it’s 10 years old now!
Today we spoke to Polina Osherov, Co-founder and Executive Director, PATTERN about how they’ve made it this far.
PATTERN was founded in 2010 with a mission to create, catalyze and connect communities of creatives in Indianapolis and the Midwest
The nonprofit is best known for its award-winning print publication, PATTERN Magazine
Over the last decade, PATTERN has organized more than 60 events, including annual programs like St’Artup 317 and the SUPPLY Tradeshow.
Since founding, PATTERN has mentored over 75 college students as a part of the nonprofit’s exclusive internship and membership programs.
It’s estimated that through all of PATTERN’s activities across Central Indiana, the organization has generated over $5 million dollars of direct economic impact.
In 2020, PATTERN is working to launch StitchWorks, an industrial sewing certificate program, with the help of a recent $30,000 grant.
